  • Discuss the evaluation of the patient within the framework of the New Diagnosis.
  • Discuss step 3 of the approach which includes risk stratification and the staging of obesity related complications as mild-moderate (Obesity Stage 1) or severe (Obesity Stage 2) using complication specific criteria.
  • Discuss how the New Diagnosis and be used as a guide to selecting therapy, including both treatment modality and intensity.
