- Describe optimal preoperative work-up of bariatric patients
- Discuss factors that should be taken into consideration when choosing a bariatric procedure
- Discuss procedure options for patients with comorbidities, especially those with the following: A. Gastroesophageal reflux; B. Barrett’s esophagus; C. Diabetes mellitus; D. Hyperlipidemia; E. High BMI (BMI>60 kg/m2).
- Describe the options in patients with problems and complications after bariatric procedures that may benefit from re-do or revisional surgery
